Gifted News Now!

New News Now!

Hello! This is BAK. Atlantic Beach Times has changed to Gifted News Now in honor of LMG. She is now moving on December 4. We miss her deeply. Okay!

So, today my group was NK and KR. All we did was Revealing Logic, Glass fracture lab, and words, words, words.

First, words, words, words. My word(s) was Dogtrot Cabin Floor plan. I said it was a dog that trots on a cabin floor to plan where to pee, creating a SOGGY CABIN FLOOR! It was really a house with a breezeway and no doors. Like a large hallway hole in your house.

Next was Revealing Logic which took us all day until 8 minutes ago. It was fun. It was pictures that you draw by following the numbers!!

The Glass Fractures lab was about Stan and Officer Johnson. Officer Johnson shot at Stan. Stan shot in self defense. Officer J shot again! Then, Ace reporter and chief detective BAK signed off. Ciao! (I know Italian and am 15% Italian as well.)

Gifted news live

Today in gifted we did one of the hardest things that we have ever done. We used a graph and found the mystery pictures, numbers, and letters it was sooooooo hard. My group today was A.G and S.M.K. . They were nice and helpful. I loooovvvvveeeeeee gifted and can’t wait to come back next week.This is G.L with your live news!!!G.L

Flooring For Kids

I never want to have to change my flooring when I grow up!!! Because you have to find ALL the dimensions!!! But my “new” flooring was a pale turquoise and to re-tile would cost about $2,600!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Too much money! Good thing it wasn’t real!!!

Well in truth, the first thing we did was Words, Words, Words!!!!!! My word was Eyelid Dormer! I thought it meant  an eyelid doorman!! But it was really a window that pokes out the house wall with a flat bottom and curvy top!!! Got to go! Ace reporter and Chief Detective SMK!! Burrito Time!!!!!   

Blogging News

Today in gifted I was partnered up with B.A.K and K.R.

We had to do complete the “Revealing Logic” worksheet, which was really tough. We completed the first

half right before lunch. After recess, we started working on the hard part. We finished the hard part

and started working on the bonus which was tough too but not as tough as the last ones, so we got that

over with about in 10 minutes. That was our day in gifted!

Remember: I did NOT include EVERY  detail.

Today In Gifted

Today in gifted we were learning about OPTICAL ILLUSIONS.

Today a new kid came to our gifted class. N.K.. (Me)

After we were done drawing optical illusion paintings, we went to have lunch and went outside as usual.  After recess we went inside all sweaty and smelly. Miss S told us to complete a couple of Thanksgiving worksheets. One of them was a Ninja Sentence worksheet. And the other one was the Crypto Worksheet. For the Ninja worksheet I got the highest/max score!

Thanksgiving times

TODAY IN GIFTED WE DID LOTS OF FUN THINGS IT WAS PROBABLY THE BEST THING WE HAVE EVER DONE IN GIFTED.THIS WEEK GAINED AND LOST A STUDENT WE LOST THE MOST FUNNIEST GIRL EVER L.M.G. AND WE GAINED A STUDENT WHOS NAMED N.K. HE IS MY FAVORITE KID IN ALL OF THE WHOLE SCHOOL. YEAH I HOPE THAT MRS. S WILL LET ME SIT WITH HIM NEXT WEEK. WE DID THIS FUN THING CALLED OPTICAL ILUSSIONS THE OTHER THING WE DID WAS WORDS,WORDS,WORDS I GOT SOME WEIRD WORDS I FORGET WHAT IT WAS STUPID SEE YOU NEXT WEEK BY.D.L.M.

Gifted Times

Attention people! I have some very sad news! Today is my last day in the Gifted Times business L I will be moving to my home state of the land we call Virginia. But let’s not get into all of that sad news. Today was a marvelous day at Gifted. We would also like to welcome our new gifted reporter, NK! He still has some work to do but we would all like to wish the best for him. Today we learned a lot about optical art. I’m telling you, this stuff plays tricks on your eyes. Be sure to watch closely to see the trick! I’m very sad because I have really enjoyed my time in Florida and now it’s coming to an end.

Let’s talk about some friends before I leave. DM was a very, “special” (not really) boy and he had just called me a loser. But trust me; he’s going to miss me. I will miss him too. J

 SK was not only a friend but a leader. She has always been there to help me with homework but she is as sweet as little miss sunshine. So be aware that if you ever are lucky enough to meet her make note to never let her go. She will dearly be missed. J

GL was awesome! She has taught me to do so many things at this schools and im so glad that I was able to meet her. She has showed me so many different things about this school and it sure is beautiful. Thank you GL! You were always an awesome friend. J

KR was cool too. She is Russian and foreign but her English is very well. She willn be missed too. J

Most of all I will miss BAK and Mrs. Stansel. See u sometime.

Gifted News Now!

Lots of Stuff!

I would like to start with birth and death in gifted. Today a new gifted child was born at the age of 11. His name is (NK). Today, a gifted child died. Her name is well known. She loved burritos during investigations which caused minor constipation. Her name LMG. NK could never replace. I have her number, address, and personal information I.e. social security #, medical files, ect. I will track down that girl but you never forget: MASSIVE BUTRESSES!

We did shape ups, where you build a shape and tell your partner how to create it. Sarah was so close! It was my fault that did not specify how to turn some rhombi.

We saw DM’s uncle do some cool juggling. It was awesome sauce!

We listened to the stupid lady talk to us like kindergartners again about optical art. We watched reading rainbow as well, and the man THOUGHT we were being tricked with the green screen trick. This is how we know it was designed for 1^st graders. The only thing that tricked us was he sat in a chair and we thought he was actually hanging on a  foam wall. We interrupt this program to say. P.U SMK!!!

Next, we did thanksgiving crypto’s. We had fun and it proved our giftedness. SIGNING OFF BAK>

P.s I also did sentence samurai! Awesome

Optical Art!

Today the first thing that we did was words, words, words!!!!!!! My word was Composite order!!! I don’t want to tell you what it means though!!!!!! Then we did optical art!!!!! I drew two people and a vase!!!!!!We also did Thanksgiving Crypto list!!!!!! We uncovered Thanksgiving words that were very EASY!!!!!! Finally we did Thanksgiving Sentence Samurai!!!!!! My sentence was completely stupid and awesome!!!! BAK’s was also ok (but mine was MUCH better)!!!!! And last but not least a PALINDROME QUIZ!!!!!!! Do you remember a couple weeks ago when I refused to tell you what palindrome means! Well we did a quiz about them! BAK and I sat down to do it together while feasting on a burrito!!! We also did a couple other stuff like seeing DM’s uncle juggle, and do shape up!! My shape was SOOOOOOOOO close to BAK’s!!!!! But it was all her fault that I didn’t get it completely!!!!!! BU BAK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now I bring you TERRIBLE news!!!! LMG, chief detective is LEAVING!!!!!! We will miss her forever! She will be in our hearts forever! Chief Detective SMK
